Use no chemicals to treat your wood today. Stop spraying chemicals to cure your wood deck or fence every two years as prescribed by other wood treatments. Apply once and watch the wood repel water. Water will bead up on the surface and run off after a solid treatment of CedarShield.

Mr. Allen’s Newly Restored Deck
The old cedar deck had started to rot especially where there were butt joints, as well as the joists and the decking immediately above the joist. The wood had split and twisted and the stain had faded. I knew I had to replace it. My options were going with a composite, trying cedar again, or pressure treated wood. Composites are very expensive and I found that almost all of them were having issues with mold and stains and consequently several manufactures were involved in lawsuits.
I was leery of using cedar again. I didn’t want to spend my hard earned money on cedar if it was just going to rot. Treated wood was a thought, but I didn’t like the additives that are used in treating the wood. I did some research on the internet, saw a demo on youtube, and after reading several complimentary reviews decided to try Cedarshield.
I am very pleased with the ease it went on and clean-up was a breeze, because there isn’t hardly any. The smell is pleasant, and the Cedarshield went a long ways, even with two applications. I would advise wearing gloves and eye protection if you are spraying over your head as I did when treating the pergola.
Today I just finished applying Cedarshield to my newly restored deck. All in all, I am very pleased with Cedarshield. I feel confident that my investment will more than pay for itself.
CedarShield Saves James’s Deck and Picnic Table.
I was looking for a cure for my weather-beaten deck, a treatment that could return some of my back deck’s former beauty. The elements, sun, rain and temperature change had taken a toll, it looked grey/green and dingy.
My search for a restorative product for my exterior wood structures lead me to CedarCide.com. I took a gamble and ordered from the website. (The good news is shipping is always free when you buy CedarShield.) Again, the wood is green, gray and no longer shows off the wood’s natural colors and hues.
Notice the wonderful change to the look of the wood after treatment with CedarShield, it has cleaned up the grey/green deposits and left the lumber water free and permanently protected from rot, cupping and fastener rejection.
And now for the hard part treating this old weathered picnic table, shown to the right standing up on it’s end. Notice the accumulation of green /brown coloring on James Picnic table. With nothing to lose James treated his table with CedarShield too.
I think its safe to say the table turned out very nicely thanks to CedarShield. Not only does it look so much better, it is now protected from further weather damage as well as insect attack.
PROJECT FROM JACKIE BLACK
Previously you have given a 5 gallon pail of cedarshield deck, dock stuff which I bought last year. I purchased five 5 gallon pails and started on my roof and eventually went down to my fence and deck. Problem is after many long hours of work, sometimes I spilled some. ouch. I really need more so am hoping you still give it out to best pictures.
I live in the greater Seattle area and wood just takes a beating. My cedar shake roof was declared dead by all roofers, and why wouldn’t they? They get a lot of money replacing these roofs. However throughout the years I had cleaned and replaced many shingles and didn’t want to throw out what was still good. I found your product advertised on 1090 AM and looked into it. I thought “why not try at least”.
Originally my son was going to help but he felt he was breaking the shingles when he walked on them so he pretty much worked below. I am not young. I’m 61 but very determined to prove these roofers wrong.
As it turned out I was able to blow off the roof and then brush a lot of junk off the roof even before starting. Then with my Wagner spray gun, the vibrations sent the rest of the debris moving down the roof as I worked.
I did most of my roof last summer but the second floor back section is left and I am left without any more cedar shield. Probably the best thing throughout these last months is to have my roof looking better all the time. I do think the homeowners association will fight me to replace it but I will be fighting back. The HO can find thousands of roofers who will say my roof is not fixable.I will need to point out your website and maybe get some extra information from you people, anyway I love this stuff and it appears to have really worked.
Please see attached pictures of the procedures and a timeline of how my roof has changed. At first I had wanted to keep the very dark look to it but as it lightens, the natural colors of wood and the changes present are a definite plus to the appeal.
The last two pictures of the beautiful brown coming out will have to be sent on the next message it seems to not be letting me add more. Please find them in the next message from me.
